We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys working with accuracy, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring the timely collection and processing of payments.
About the Role
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the overall financial health of the business. You will work closely with internal departments and external clients to ensure invoices are processed efficiently and accounts are reconciled accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts
- Process incoming payments and allocate them correctly
- Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate customer account records and documentation
- Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting
- Collaborate with operational departments to ensure billing accuracy
- Respond professionally to client and internal financial inquiries
- Support the Finance team with administrative and accounting tasks as required
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Finance, or Accounting
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting and property management systems is an advantage
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
