- A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent contract.
- A gross monthly base salary between €4,300 and €7,600, depending on your education and experience.
- A total of 10% fixed annual allowances: 8% holiday allowance, 2% year-end bonus, plus a variable profit-sharing scheme.

- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in shipping, maritime logistics or vessel operations.
- Higher professional education (hbo) combined with a relevant professional qualification.
- Professional proficiency in English is essential, as you will work daily with international colleagues and stakeholders. You also have good working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of maritime law and insurance, combined with experience in claims handling.
- Knowledge of international standards for the handling, storage and transportation of steel, the ability to work independently and an interest in digitalisation, automation, data analysis and process optimisation.
Experience at sea, with a shipowner or operator, as a supercargo, with SAP or with safety management systems is an advantage.
