As a Junior Master Planner, you will be jointly responsible for solving daily logistical challenges using various modes of transport (road, water, and rail). Together with your fellow Master Planners, you will oversee the entire fleet of containers. You will ensure an optimal planning outcome, monitoring the revenues and costs per trip while keeping monthly profitability in mind. Based on costs, reliability, and other specifications, you will determine the appropriate deployment and routing of the containers. You will coordinate with other departments within your division and provide instructions to your colleagues on the planning, enabling them to proceed with execution and engage various stakeholders. For this role, it is important that you thrive on optimizing planning processes.
