As a Floor Manager at Wagamama in Amsterdam, you are the key player in the restaurant. You ensure that everything on the floor runs smoothly and that our guests have an unforgettable experience. You are responsible for leading and motivating the service team, maintaining a high standard of hospitality, and coordinating daily operations. With your energy and enthusiasm, you make sure the restaurant runs like a well-oiled machine, even during the busiest moments.
Responsibilities:
- Daily management and guidance of the service team.
- Ensuring an outstanding guest experience by anticipating and responding to guests' needs.
- Coordinating various tasks on the floor, including optimizing table occupancy.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment according to Wagamama standards.
- Assisting with staff scheduling and training new team members.
- Monitoring operational efficiency and resolving any issues.
- Actively contributing to achieving revenue targets.
- Working closely with the kitchen and management team to ensure smooth collaboration.
Your profile:
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Customer-focused with a strong sense of hospitality.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
- Leadership skills with a motivating and positive attitude.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
- Experience working in a busy restaurant is a plus.
