Day to Day
The Public Sector Strategy team is a critical pillar of Indeed’s Public Sector Sales organisation. Our mission is to elevate Indeed’s position within the Public Sector by bridging the gap between Indeed’s capabilities and local market and client needs, to accelerate revenue growth.
As a Business Strategist, you will drive growth across EMEA, with a focus on France, Belgium and the Netherlands. This role is designed for a strategic thinker who can navigate complex enterprise accounts, engage senior partners, and execute sophisticated sales and account strategies to win in the public space.
Responsibilities
- Enterprise Strategy: Partner with sales teams to execute bespoke strategies and navigate complex decision-making for high-value Public Sector accounts.
- Partner Engagement: Act as a strategic advisor to senior internal and external partners, facilitating high-level discussions.
- RfX & Tenders: Collaborate with Bid Management to prepare winning tender documents for direct or joint bids.
- Sales Campaigns: Develop and execute targeted sales campaigns across Public Sector sub-verticals (e.g., Education, Healthcare, Central Government).
- Commercial & Product Alignment: Partner with GPC, MARV, and R&D to create localized pricing models, client materials, and product requirements driven by local legislation.
- Channel & Partner Growth: Work with Channel Partners (Media Agencies, ATS Vendors, RPOs) to build joint go-to-market strategies and ensure market consistency.
- Compliance & Internal Synergy: Support the contract lifecycle and compliance programs while managing projects to deepen partnerships across Recruit-owned companies and C-suite leadership.
Skills/Competencies
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree, and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience; or a PhD with a minimum of 3 years experience
- Fluency in Dutch and English
- Experience in a Sales, Strategy, Consulting or RFx/Bid Management role with a demonstrated track record of driving ROI
- Public Sector Expertise: Proven experience managing large, complex public sector deals and navigating the unique procurement cycles of government entities
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Experience leading projects across multiple countries and coordinating partners across different time zones and cultures
- Contract Management: 2+ years of experience in compliance, contracts, or project management within the public sector.
Salary Range Transparency
Tier 2 - Belgium 79,000 - 119,000 EUR per year

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
