The internship
Are you interested in Digital Transformation, Change Management and Adoption? During this internship within the Digital Enablement Competence Center, you’ll support initiatives that help teams across Technology, Security & Operations adopt digital tools more effectively, improve collaboration and deliver measurable business value.
In this role, you will:
- Support the rollout of Digital Enablement initiatives such as learning journeys and the ambassador network
- Contribute to communication content (presentations, SharePoint, internal messages)
- Help organize and facilitate workshops and community sessions
- Collect and analyze feedback (e.g. surveys, sessions) and translate insights into improvements
- Assist in creating adoption and change communication plans for digital tools and initiatives
- Observe and contribute to change management practices, gaining hands-on experience in driving behavioral change in a digital environment
Your new team and workplace
You will join the Digital Enablement Competence Center within the Digital & Technology (D&T;) department. It’s a relatively new team, focused on helping the organization get the most value out of digital products and ways of working.
The team consists of a diverse group of specialists collaborating across portfolios and functions, supporting teams on their initiatives and accelerate their impact. It’s a dynamic, international environment where you will gain exposure to different parts of the organization while contributing to real initiatives.

- You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s (preferable) program (e.g. Communication Science, Change Management, Organisational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field)
- You have a strong interest in communication, change management, and improving ways of working within organizations
- You enjoy translating complex ideas into clear, engaging messages tailored to different audiences
- You are curious about how change is experienced by people and how communication can support adoption and engagement
- You are interested in digital tools and how they are used to enable collaboration and transformation
- Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, or content creation tools is a plus

Conditions of HEINEKEN
Our Internship Conditions
During your time as an intern at HEINEKEN, you’ll work in a dynamic environment where growing and learning are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we brew your future step by step. In addition, we offer you:
- A full-time practice-oriented internship, starting on September 1, 2026
- The duration of the internship is 6 months (to be agreed upon with your internship supervisor)
- Your home office will be located in Amsterdam
- At HEINEKEN, we work with a hybrid model, typically spending three days a week at the office and two days working from home
- You will receive a monthly internship allowance of €650 gross based on a 40-hour workweek
- You will earn 2 vacation days per month (based on a full-time internship)
- If you do not have a public transport student subscription, your commuting costs will be fully reimbursed
