Job Description: As a Mechatronics Technician, you will play a key role in the assembly, testing, and continuous improvement of our NANOS SEM — advanced tabletop SEM solutions that combine precision mechanics, electronics, software, and vacuum technology. You will work closely with the R&D team to ensure high product quality and efficient manufacturing processes.
- Assemble and test the NANOS tabletop SEM according to technical specifications and quality standards.
- Perform system integration, calibration, and functional testing.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during assembly and testing, and implement sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Analyse recurring problems and contribute to root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Improve current assembly and testing processes, including work instructions, test protocols, and overall production efficiency.
- Provide technical feedback and improvement proposals to the R&D team to support product and process development.
- Secondary Vocational Education (MBO level 3 or higher) in a relevant field, such as Mechatronics, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in the high-tech industry.
- Experience with (tabletop) SEM systems is considered an advantage, or a strong willingness to learn and develop expertise in this area.
- Good command of the Dutch and/or English language, both written and spoken.
- Self-driven and hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills.
