To support our vision and growth trajectory, Phenix Capital Group is seeking a Impact Investing Research & Programming Manager for our Amsterdam-based office.
We are seeking a professional with a passion for sustainable finance and impact investing who can identify emerging market trends, engage senior institutional investors and asset managers, and translate industry developments into high-quality conference agendas and thought leadership content.
The successful candidate will have several years of experience in the financial industry and possess knowledge of investment management.
Impact Investing Research & Programming Manager will support our team by conducting in-depth market research to identify the most relevant topics, leverage their network of institutional investors and asset owners to recruit top speakers, shape the in-depth discussions, and play a leading role in driving investor attendance at events.
The role also involves creating and copywriting content to support our marketing efforts, publications, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Develop high-quality conference agendas that address the most pressing issues facing the impact investing market.
- Conduct in-depth interviews with C-suite executives to understand market challenges, risks, opportunities, and emerging trends in impact investing.
- Create engaging session formats that facilitate meaningful discussions among senior industry participants.
- Set and maintain timelines and priorities for conference programming to ensure effective delivery.
- Identify, engage, and recruit leading institutional investors, asset owners, and industry experts as speakers.
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, asset owners, and industry specialists.
- Work with strategic partners and industry organisations to increase participation and strengthen industry engagement.
- Expand Phenix Capital Group's network within the global impact investing ecosystem and identify opportunities for market expansion and partnerships.
- Maintain relationships with sponsors and manage their speaking opportunities and participation.
- Support marketing and audience development initiatives through content creation and strategic messaging.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all conference content and communications.
- 3-5 years of experience working in the financial industry or investment management.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a finance-related field.
- Passion for impact investing and sustainable finance.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple team members and manage several projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly identify relevant information.
- Ability to engage confidently with senior executives
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail
- Experience creating content and copywriting to support marketing efforts is an advantage.
- Experience with website and CRM management tools (e.g., HubSpot).
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to travel internationally

- Competitive salary based on experience.
- 32-hour contract (negotiable); freelance arrangements may also be considered.
