Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Quality Analyst to join our Manufacturing organization in Kerkrade. The Quality Analyst plays a key role in ensuring stable and continuously improving product quality by translating operational and quality data into actionable insights and sustainable improvements. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Quality Analyst will work closely with Operations and Maintenance teams to identify root causes of quality issues, drive corrective actions and improve process performance. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with a structured problem-solving approach and a passion for continuous improvement. In this role, you will be responsible for quality performance monitoring, root cause analysis, process control and knowledge transfer across the organization.
We are offering a key role in driving product quality, process performance and continuous improvement across the Kerkrade Manufacturing organization.
Responsibilities:
Quality Performance Monitoring
· Own and maintain quality KPIs and dashboards.
· Ensure data integrity and standardized KPI definitions.
· Translate quality and operational data into meaningful insights and improvement priorities.
Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving
· Lead structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities.
· Ensure major quality deviations are analyzed using a fact-based approach.
· Develop and maintain defect libraries and standard RCA outputs.
Process Control
· Analyze critical process parameters, material behavior and sources of variation.
· Identify opportunities to improve process stability.
· Support the definition and monitoring of process control limits.
Continuous Improvement
· Define and drive Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs).
· Track actions from initiation through implementation.
· Ensure improvements are effectively embedded and sustained over time.
Standardization & Knowledge Transfer
· Translate technical expertise into standard work procedures, decision trees and defect handling guidelines.
· Support training and development of operators and supervisors.
· Facilitate knowledge sharing and best-practice adoption across shifts and departments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Work closely with Operations and Maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
· Coordinate corrective actions and support effective follow-up.
· Drive collaboration to achieve sustainable quality improvements.
Reporting
· Monitor quality performance and identify trends.
· Present recommendations and improvement opportunities to management and stakeholders.
· Report on project progress and quality improvement results.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Quality Management, Process Technology or a related field.
· Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing, quality or process improvement environment.
· Strong analytical and statistical skills, including experience with data analysis.
· Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
· Understanding process variability, quality control and process capability.
· Ability to interpret defect patterns, trends and correlations and translate findings into practical solutions.
· Strong ownership and accountability.
· Ability to influence stakeholders and drive improvements without direct authority.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Demonstrates a practical, proactive and results-focused approach.
· Proficiency in Dutch and English.
· Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Experience with data visualization tools is considered an advantage.
