Are you a SCADA Engineer BCS with a passion for software, automation, and complex technical systems? Do you find it interesting to optimize and improve existing SCADA and PLC systems, and do you want to play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of baggage handling systems at airports worldwide? - Design and implement new software and modify existing SCADA and PLC systems;
- Build and manage simulation software (digital twins) for test and acceptance environments;
- Perform functional and integration tests on developed software;
- Analyze and resolve malfunctions in existing control systems and software;
- Draft and maintain system documentation, work instructions, and procedures;
- Coordinating work orders and project tasks with team members and stakeholders;
- Support customers and internal teams with service and technical advice.
- A completed HBO or WO degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or similar;
- Knowledge and experience with SCADA systems (e.g. Siemens WinCC) and PLC systems (e.g. Siemens S7/TIA Portal);
- Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
- Analytical skills and a proactive, solution-oriented attitude;
- Eagerness to learn and the ability to quickly master complex processes;
- Experience with documenting and transferring technical knowledge;
- Insight into safety and compliance requirements within critical infrastructures;
- Experience with digital simulations and test environments (digital twins);
- Knowledge of higher-level programming languages (C or C#) is a plus.
- A full-time salary between € 4,000 and € 5,500 gross per month;
