About the Role
We’re hiring Freelance Dog Walkers - Dog Sitters to help support our daycare and local clients with structured, safe, and loving care.
Your Responsibilities
- Walk dogs in safe, approved routes in the Zeeburgereiland area
- Manage group walks of up to 3 dogs or solo walks when needed
- Keep dogs leashed and under control at all times
- Ensure dogs get proper exercise, mental stimulation, and bathroom breaks
- Observe and report any unusual behavior, injuries, or health issues
- Follow Mary Puppies’ walking protocols and client preferences
- Communicate clearly with the team and clients as needed
- Ensure dogs are comfortable and not bothered by others

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience with dogs professionally is strongly preferred but not mandatory
- Unemployed or Remote/hybrid worker
- Calm, confident, and patient with all dog breeds and personalities
- Physically fit and comfortable walking in all weather conditions
- Trustworthy, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently and follow safety guidelines
- Fluent in conversational English (no Dutch required)
- Must Live in Amsterdam Oost, Ijburg or sorroundings.
Bonus (Not Required):
- Own car and valid driver's license
- Experience in dog daycare
- Familiarity with basic dog training techniques
