We are seeking a motivated Transportation Representative to support our growing Managed Transportation business. This role is responsible for developing and managing relationships with transportation providers across Europe, with a primary focus on Groupage and Less-than-Truckload (LTL) networks and carrier partnerships.
The successful candidate will work closely with operations, account management, and carrier partners to secure transportation capacity, support customer transportation programs, and ensure consistent service delivery across our managed freight network. In addition to Groupage and LTL transportation, the role will support Full Truckload (FTL), bulk, and specialized transportation solutions as part of a comprehensive managed transportation offering.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with 2–4 years of transportation or logistics experience who is looking to grow their career within a fast-paced, international logistics organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with Groupage, LTL, and road transportation providers across Europe.
- Source and secure transportation capacity for customer programs, with a primary focus on Groupage, LTL, and network-based transportation solutions.
- Support FTL, bulk, and specialized transportation requirements where applicable.
- Negotiate transportation rates and service agreements with carrier partners.
- Collaborate closely with operations and account management teams to ensure customer expectations are consistently met.
- Monitor carrier performance, service quality, and operational KPIs.
- Identify and resolve service issues, delays, and capacity challenges in a proactive manner.
- Assist in onboarding new carrier partners and maintaining carrier compliance documentation.
- Maintain accurate carrier profiles, pricing information, and market intelligence within company systems.
- Support transportation procurement initiatives, bid events, and network optimization projects.
- Develop strategic relationships with carrier partners to improve service levels, expand network capabilities, and support business growth.
Experience Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, carrier procurement, carrier management, brokerage, or managed transportation.
- Experience working with Groupage and/or LTL transportation networks is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of Groupage, LTL, FTL, bulk transport, and carrier operations is an advantage.
- Exposure to European road transportation markets is preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.#
- Effective negotiation and commercial awareness.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Comfortable working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), freight platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret transportation market data.
- Familiarity with carrier compliance requirements and European transportation regulations is an advantage.
- Knowledge of ADR-regulated transportation, bulk logistics, pallet networks, or specialized transport solutions is considered a plus.
- Fluent English required.
- Additional European languages are a plus.
