You bring solid full stack engineering experience and a mindset focused on performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
Specifically, we're looking for:

Strong backend development skills in Java and/or Python
- Experience designing APIs and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with data streaming or messaging systems (e.g. Kafka)

Cloud infrastructure experience, particularly AWS, and containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes
- A solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and system reliability
- Experience with both relational and time-series databases
- Willingness to collaborate across the stack, including with front-end teams
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
A degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience (5+ years) is the baseline. Exposure to TypeScript/JavaScript, data-intensive or analytics platforms, or industrial communication protocols is a nice bonus, but not a dealbreaker. Most importantly, you take ownership of your work, communicate openly, and care about building things that last.
