About Sirens Design BV
Sirens Design BV is launching a new returns and refurbishment warehouse in Veghel, supporting
leading ladies' fashion brands with the inspection, processing and repurposing of returned
garments. Our aim is to help customers maximise the value of returned products while reducing
waste and supporting a more sustainable supply chain.
As we establish our Netherlands operation, we are looking for an experienced and motivated
Warehouse Manager to play a key role in setting up and leading our warehouse. This is an exciting
opportunity for someone who enjoys building efficient operations, developing a team and making a
real impact from day one.
The Role
This is a hands-on management position where you will take ownership of the day-to-day operation
of our new warehouse. You will help recruit and lead a small team of warehouse operatives,
establish efficient warehouse processes, oversee inventory accuracy, coordinate inbound and
outbound shipments, and ensure returned products are processed to the highest quality standards.
As one of the first members of our Netherlands team, you will have the opportunity to shape the
warehouse operation and contribute directly to its long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the warehouse.
- Recruit, train and supervise a small team of warehouse operatives/sorters.
- Plan daily workloads and allocate tasks effectively.
- Receive and inspect incoming returned garments.
- Ensure all returned goods are accurately processed and recorded.
- Manage stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Prepare and dispatch outgoing customer orders and transfers.
- Ensure all products are handled according to customer quality standards.
- Monitor warehouse productivity and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.
- Ensure compliance with Dutch health & safety regulations.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies where required.
- Produce warehouse reports and stock updates for management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement efficient warehouse processes.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience managing a warehouse or logistics operation.
- Experience supervising warehouse staff.
- Strong inventory management skills.
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
- Good computer skills and experience using warehouse or inventory management systems.
- Ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment. Fluent spoken and written English.
- Fluent spoken and written Dutch.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Eligible to work in the Netherlands.
Desirable
- Experience within fashion, retail, e-commerce or returns processing.
- Experience with quality control or garment inspection.
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one).
- Experience implementing warehouse processes within a growing business.
