We are seeking a Marketing Director for our Solar vertical business to successfully develop and implement successful strategies in the solar market through unique market insights.
Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and driven global Marketing Director – Solar to join our team. This leadership role requires a strategic and action-oriented individual who can identify, develop, and execute initiatives to drive profitable growth in the Solar segment. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering value to customers.

The position reports into the Vice President, Marketing as part of the global marketing leadership team and is directly responsible for a team of three Marketing managers.
Essential Functions
- Develop and execute the Solar Strategy to drive share gain, revenue growth, and margin improvements.
- Drive Portfolio Management to ensure both short term and long-term success; including product and technology roadmaps, go-to-market strategies, pricing, brand, and growth strategies to achieve a leadership position in the market.
- Lead new product innovation phases from business case development, pre-launch commercial readiness, market launch, and post-launch requirements to ensure targets are achieved.
- Own plans that drive product improvements and sustainment, plus product obsolescence where appropriate. Proactively manage the portfolio to improve margins and reduce risk.
- Develop and execute Commercial Plans to drive achievement of objectives for the Solar segment, including targets for orders, revenue, share gain, margin, pricing, vitality, and quality. Own cross-functional problem solving actions when results are not meeting target.
- Identify and drive inorganic growth opportunities for the Solar market segment.
- Build a high performing Team by attracting, developing, and retaining diverse talent and foster a continuous improvement mindset
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required. MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in leading teams of product management, business development, or other relevant commercial roles.
- Solar market experience in a broad commercial role is a plus.
- Global experience, working effectively with diverse teams and cultures.
- Flexibility to engage with stakeholders across multiple time zones.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Fluent in English.
