We are looking for an experienced People Operations Lead for a fast-scaling international tech company (1600fte) to keep things running smoothly while they search for a permanent hire. You'll be the face of the People Ops team in the Netherlands (700fte), the first point of contact for employees and the person who makes sure local compliance and day-to-day processes stay on track.
What you'll be doing
✨ Owning the full employee lifecycle in the Netherlands: onboarding, offboarding, job changes, and leave administration
✨ Managing service tickets via the People Help Portal and answer questions on HR programs and employment conditions quickly and accurately
✨ Coordinate IND processes, UWV requests, and other compliance obligations
✨ You will work closely with Payroll to make sure all mutations are processed correctly and on time
✨ Managing HR data and employee records in line with GDPR and local regulations
What we're looking for
✅ At least 4 years of experience in People Operations or HR Service Delivery
✅ Strong knowledge of Dutch employment law, including IND processes and UWV coordination
✅ Fluent in English and Dutch - must be able to read nuanced documents and communicate with authorities in Dutch
✅ Comfortable in international environments: experience with Workday is a plus
✅ Available for 40 hours per week, with flexibility to start later in the day to overlap with Pacific Time (until around 18:30 CET)
