For our office in Nootdorp, we are looking for a Procurement Sourcing Specialist Europe Africa Region. In this role you work on developing and executing sourcing strategies and creating structured sourcing plans aligned with the business. Your role
In this role you:
Lead end-to-end sourcing processes, including market analysis, supplier identification, RFx execution, evaluation, negotiation and contract award.
Analyse spend data, cost drivers and total cost of ownership (TCO) to pro-actively identify cost optimisation, value creation and risk mitigation opportunities.
Define and agree supplier selection criteria, manage tender processes and ensure robust evaluation and decision-making.
Coordinate closely with various internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, requirements and contracting strategy.
Contribute directly to P&L impact and regional sourcing performance.
Map key stakeholders (internal and external) and act as a business partner to drive sourcing initiatives effectively.
What you bring along
At least a BSC degree, or equivalent, in a related field;
3+ years of relevant work experience as Purchaser, Contracting, category manager, or similar procurement or Supply Chain function;
Ideally previous experience & commercial knowledge in the MRO, Engineering, Construction and shipping industry and familiar with handling & negotiating framework agreements;
Commercial insight. You are able to think and understand both the customer as well as sales perspective, negotiate preferred terms with suppliers, and weigh customer requirements against sourcing capacities and capabilities.
Strong stakeholder management skills to support both internal and external strategic deliverables.
Strong in spend analysis and translating spend into strategy and demonstrated experience in Lean methodologies and process enhancement.
You have excellent English language skills both written and oral, Dutch is a plus.
