What to Expect
To support the purchasing team by analyzing data, systems, and processes to deliver actionable insights. The successful candidate will design and maintain dashboards, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure auditable and data-driven decision-making to optimize procurement strategy and operations.
What You'll Do
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with buyers to understand their needs, validate requirements, and translate them into technical specifications. Support buyers by analyzing quotes, developing evaluation scenarios, and optimizing supplier selection through technical analysis.
- Process & System Analysis: Deep dive into procurement workflows, tools, and applications to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities in regards with data quality.
- Dashboard Development and Maintenance: Create intuitive and auditable dashboards to track KPIs, supplier performance, pricing trends, and procurement metrics.
- Data Governance: Assess data availability and quality, advocate for data standardization, and partner with data engineers to resolve gaps.
Problem-Solving: Propose innovative solutions for data collection, integration, or reporting challenges, including external data sources if needed.

What You'll Bring
- 3+ years in business analysis, experience with dashboard development or data-driven decision-making in procurement/supply chain environments.
- Experience with working in a SOX compliance environment is preferred
- Proficiency in SQL (or similar query languages) to extract data from multiple databases (e.g., invoice databases, contract systems).
- Familiarity with Power BI/Tableau to create interactive dashboards with dynamic calculations and visualizations.
- Understanding of Python and Dax
- Excel Proficiency
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on translating business needs into actionable insights.
- Ability to think creatively to address data gaps or process bottlenecks.
Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with cross-functional teams (buyers, data engineers, management).
