We operate across more than 100 marketplaces in 27 EU countries, including Amazon, bol, Kaufland, ManoMano, CDON and other Mirakl-based platforms. Advertising is a core growth lever within our marketplace offering.
Your role
As a Senior Marketplace Advertising Specialist, you are responsible for the end-to-end performance of marketplace advertising. This is a hands-on role: you actively build, manage and optimise campaigns yourself while also contributing at a strategic level.
You are not removed from execution. You work directly in the accounts, make decisions based on data, and take responsibility for results.
Your responsibilitiesHands-on campaign management
- Actively manage and optimise advertising campaigns across marketplaces (Amazon Ads, bol Ads and similar platforms)
- Build and maintain scalable campaign structures across multiple countries and customers
- Launch, test and optimise Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display and equivalent formats
- Perform keyword research, harvesting and negative targeting
- Manage bids, budgets and placements directly in the accounts
Performance & growth
- Own performance KPIs such as ROAS, TACoS, revenue growth and efficiency
- Identify scaling opportunities and performance bottlenecks
- Align advertising with stock availability, pricing and promotions
- Support growth through structured testing and optimisation
Collaboration & development
- Work closely with Marketplace Consultants to align advertising with customer goals
- Coordinate with Operations and Content teams to ensure readiness for traffic
- Support onboarding of new customers from an advertising perspective
- Contribute to improving internal tooling, automation and AI-driven advertising workflows
- Share knowledge and best practices within the team
Our requirements
We are looking for a senior, execution-focused professional with:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in marketplace advertising, with a strong focus on Amazon Ads
- Proven experience actively managing and optimising campaigns (not only reporting or strategy)
- Strong understanding of marketplace mechanics and performance drivers
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools (PowerBI, Tableau or similar)
- Experience with advertising tools such as Intentwise, AdBrew, M19 or similar is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of performance
- Clear communication skills and confidence in stakeholder discussions
- Excellent command of English; additional European languages are a plus
- Bachelor level in Marketing, Business or a related field
