You will work in an international environment, which means regular travel is part of the position.
We are looking for a sales manager who will explore new markets and opportunities and finds new customers in addition to maintaining existing customer relationships. You explore opportunities in our existing market of retrofits and possible solutions in the field of IMO regulations, but you are also continuously looking for possibilities to expand our services as a whole.
Goltens Green Technologies B.V. designs and installs green and technical solutions on board of new and existing ships. By responding quickly to requests for marine service and repair, we provide efficient and high-quality retrofits around the world in a market where environmental compliance is a long-standing issue for ship owners.
Goltens Green Technologies: 17 colleagues, a total of 70 in the Netherlands and around 1200 colleagues worldwide.
Your responsibilities:
- generating sales leads for retrofit projects in the maritime and offshore industry;
- you visit new and existing customers and follow up on these leads by finding and developing technical solutions together with colleagues and customers;
- you are responsible for an efficient and successful sales process in the broadest sense of the word and you build long-term customer relationships;
- you successfully transfer the projects to one of our project managers and work closely with the management team and our engineers.
Your talents:
- you are proactive, driven, solution-oriented, independent and responsible;
- ownership and initiative is highly valued within the organization;
- you have strategic market insight and are interested in new technologies and developments within the shipping industry;
- you have knowledge of the current maritime industry and follow technical developments and you preferably have knowledge about IMO regulations.
Your skills:
- you are technically well-grounded and function at HBO level;
- you have strong communication skills with an excellent command of the Dutch and English language;
- preferably you have knowledge about 3D laser scanning and you have good computer skills.
