Logoplaste is looking for a hands-on Production Manager to join our Management Team in Zoetermeer. This role is ideal for a technically skilled leader who enjoys being present on the shop floor, leading teams, solving operational and technical challenges, and driving continuous improvement.
As Production Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of production operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing performance. You will lead the production teams, provide technical direction, and play a key role in equipment reliability, maintenance performance, and process optimization.
You will manage a team of approximately 20-25 employees and report directly to the Plant Manager.
Tasks / Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the production team, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor, providing visible leadership, guidance, and support to employees.
- Coordinate daily production activities to ensure delivery against production plans, quality standards, and operational targets.
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on troubleshooting support for production processes and equipment.
- Daily monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), making recommendations to address quality, safety, and production issues.
- Develop and maintain production procedures, work instructions, and operational standards.
- Coordinate workforce planning, staffing requirements, scheduling, and time registration.
- Lead performance management, coaching, training, and development initiatives for production employees.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and talent development within the production organization.
- Ensure compliance with quality requirements and integrated management systems, including FSSC 22000 and ISO 45001.
- Maintain production master data and support operational reporting through SAP and related systems.
- Work closely with the Plant Manager, Quality Manager, Maintenance Manager & Production Planner to achieve plant objectives.

Profile
- Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong technical background with experience in industrial production processes, equipment, and maintenance.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive operational performance.
- Hands-on leader who is comfortable working close to the production floor.
- Decisive, pragmatic, and results oriented.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
Technical skills
- Fluent Dutch and English is essential both spoken and written
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SAP.
