Miuz is an award-winning artisanal gelato company based in Amsterdam, with two locations and ambitious growth plans in the Netherlands and abroad. About the Role
We’re looking for an Assistant Gelato Chef / Pastry Chef de Partie to join our production team at Miuz Overtoom.
Are you an early bird with a passion for pastry and artisanal gelato? In this role, you’ll work alongside our production team to create freshly made gelato, desserts and pastry items from scratch using premium ingredients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, process and store gelato with precision and consistency.
- Prepare desserts, gelato toppings and chocolate items.
- Execute daily and weekly mise-en-place according to production needs.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering requirements to the Lead of Production.
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness and equipment usage in line with HACCP guidelines.
- Contribute ideas and participate in the development of new flavours and menu items.
- Support continuous improvement of production processes and quality standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in pastry or as a Pastry Chef de Partie; gelato experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques.
- Precision, speed, efficiency and passion for craftsmanship.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently, particularly during early morning shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliability, enthusiasm and ambition to grow within the company.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude.

Pay: From €2.650,00 per month
