We are looking for a Marketing Manager to be part of the Game Drive marketing team.
As a Marketing Manager, you’ll oversee the strategy, coordination, and execution of campaigns for clients and their games. You’ll lead a small talented team and work closely together to deliver actions that make an impact. Ideal candidates possess a deep understanding of game marketing and strong communication skills. We’re looking for a highly motivated, proactive, and independent team player to help us push Game Drive to the next level.
Your duties
- Develop and implement short- and long-term marketing strategies
- Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and actions
- Manage the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
- Coordinate day-to-day activities that lead to the completion of projects, goals and tasks
- Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables
- Supervise and mentor the marketing team
- Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables across internal teams and external partners
- Oversee the creation and quality assurance of marketing materials, from social media content to promotional assets
- Organize the production of branded products for the purpose of marketing, such as merchandise and stationery
- Maintain marketing databases, inventories, and reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Manage the team, and ensure the team delivers and follows the agreed upon processes and practices
- Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Identify new opportunities, trends, and innovations to continuously enhance marketing effectiveness
Skills required
- Proven experience in marketing management, preferably within the video game industry
- Strong understanding of both digital and traditional marketing, including social media, content marketing, and influencer outreach
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities
- Natural leadership skills with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experienced in turning data into actionable strategies
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to new challenges
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and multiple deadlines
- Affinity with video games, able to generate enthusiasm and empathy for each project
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing or a related field
- Strong written and spoken English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), planning and collaboration tools (e.g. Trello, Jira)
