WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a project manager who gets energy from leading international, technically challenging projects. You keep oversight, think along both commercially and technically, and know how to connect teams from different disciplines. You feel at home in an environment where you are given a high level of responsibility and you enjoy switching between client, engineering and execution.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Take end‑to‑end ownership of around 6 international projects per year. From order intake through to installation and handover on site.
- Act as the primary point of contact for your customers, while coordinating closely with engineering, procurement, production, logistics and site teams.
- Safeguard project planning, progress, quality and financial performance, ensuring that both technical and commercial objectives are met.
- Identify and manage changes in scope or supply, handle variation orders and secure proper internal and external alignment.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key accounts, combining technical credibility with a clear understanding of customer needs.
- Ensure smooth and safe execution of complex projects in challenging international environments, in line with applicable standards and customer requirements.
WHAT DO YOU BRING?
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a comparable technical field.
- Several years of experience in a project management or project leadership role within a technical, industrial or engineering‑driven environment.
- Strong technical insight, enabling you to understand drawings, specifications and process requirements quickly.
- Solid commercial awareness: you are comfortable with contracts, scope changes and margins, and you know how to balance interests.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; you keep overview, set priorities and take ownership.
- Very good command of English, both spoken and written; additional languages are an advantage.
- A proactive, independent and results‑driven mindset, with a strong sense of responsibility for “your” projects.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
- A high‑impact independent role with end‑to‑end responsibility for large, technically complex international projects.
- The opportunity to work with leading chemical customers on installations that are visible and critical in their production chains.
- A financially solid, internationally active company with short decision lines, in‑house expertise and an open, down‑to‑earth culture.
- A competitive annual salary aligned with your experience and background; the employer does not disclose specific figures in the public vacancy.
- Plenty of room to take responsibility, develop yourself further and grow within a global project environment.
