Make impact in a fast-growing international organization

As Financial Controller, you will play a key role within our fast-growing international manufacturing & sales organization. Today Verder Liquids contains more than 40 entities in 25 countries worldwide through continuous organic growth and acquisitions.

To support the continued growth of Verder Liquids we focus on creating a scalable organisation & ERP platform (Microsoft Dynamics 365) and strengthening our Accounting & Reporting and Planning & Control processes.
You will have plenty of autonomy to shape your role and actively contribute to the quality of our global financial processes. You assess reports, advise management teams, and lead the financial integration of newly acquired companies.

This is the ideal position for an experienced professional who wants to go beyond reporting and truly build, steer, and improve within an international context.

To be successful in this role, you have:

A university degree in Business Economics
At least 10 years of relevant work experience
A strong background in accounting and controlling
Demonstrable experience with consolidation processes
Experience within larger organizations with multiple entities
Experience with internal and external audits
Solid knowledge of international accounting principles
Excellent command of the English language
Willingness to travel up to approximately 10% per year (depending on projects)

Your responsibilities include:

Reviewing and safeguarding the quality of monthly reports from 40 entities
Ensuring timely and accurate financial information
Providing feedback to local and global management teams
Leading consolidation processes
Coordinating internal and external audits
Analyzing and interpreting financial data for decision-making
Integrating newly acquired companies into our financial reporting structure
Implementing and complying with international accounting standards
Collaborating with local finance teams to optimize processes
Contributing to global finance projects and process improvements

We offer a solid benefits package, including a good pension scheme and travel expense reimbursement. The salary is up to €6,000 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience. After your probationary period, you can work from home two days per week on a full-time contract. The remaining days we work together at the office, because we value short communication lines and mutual collaboration.
