As a Tactical Planner, you are responsible for developing and maintaining feasible mid-term production and capacity plans based on the approved S&OP plan that ensure optimal delivery performance, efficiency, and scalability. You act as the linking pin between Supply Chain, Procurement, and Production, continuously balancing demand and available resources.
You identify bottlenecks before they become issues, develop mitigation scenarios, trigger cross-functional actions to address planning risks, and provide data-driven recommendations to support business decisions. In this role, you combine analytical thinking with stakeholder management and operational pragmatism.
Key responsibilities:
Translate the approved S&OP plan into a feasible mid-term production and capacity plan.
Balance demand, capacity, material availability, and operational constraints.
Identify risks to the production plan, develop mitigation scenarios, and trigger actions with Demand Planning, Operations, and Procurement.
Monitor planning KPIs, delivery performance, inventory levels, and resource utilization.
Facilitate planning reviews and align stakeholders on priorities, trade-offs, and recovery actions.
Coordinate planning activities across Operations, Procurement, Logistics, and Manufacturing.
Support Production Planning and Operations to ensure effective plan execution and decision making.
Analyze demand, capacity, and supply data to identify risks and optimization opportunities.
Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, parameters, reporting, and planning tools.
