As a Business Developer / Analyst your primary responsibility is to translate business, risk, and regulatory requirements from SIM stakeholders and Corporate Office into clear, actionable business user stories for both SaaS application onboarding and home‑grown application development, ensuring secure and compliant implementation. You are responsible for ensuring that highly confidential and sensitive data (e.g. risk, compliance, legal, and management information) is handled in line with ABN AMRO’s security, privacy, and data‑classification standards. This includes defining requirements for access control, data segregation, logging, auditability, and integration with existing systems.
Throughout the delivery lifecycle, you take ownership of requirements clarification, refinement, and acceptance, working proactively with teams to ensure business needs are correctly understood and effectively realized.
Key Responsibilities:

Working in an Agile and DevOps environment, contributing actively to refinement, planning, and delivery to ensure outcomes are realized.

Collaborate with domain architects to co‑define solution designs that align with ABN AMRO’s architecture principles, risk frameworks, and strategic direction.

Advise internal and external stakeholders on design choices, regulatory constraints, data privacy, security, and technology trade‑offs, and build support for proposed solutions.

Monitor and analyse market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor developments, proactively challenging requirements to ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and sustainable rather than short‑term fixes.

Lead and support SaaS application onboarding, including vendor assessment, data security and privacy reviews, regulatory compliance checks, integration with the bank’s IT landscape, and alignment with cloud approval board.
