Are you looking for a diverse role where you are active both in our warehouse and in our sheet metal department (Zinc processing)? If so, this combined position at Friesland Non-Ferro Metaal is perfect for you!
We are looking for a motivated, practical individual to serve as the link between our logistics and custom production departments. No two days are the same: one day you might be loading trucks and picking orders, and the next you will be manufacturing custom zinc gutters using our CNC folding machines.
What will you do?
Your responsibilities are divided between our logistics department and our Zinc production department..
Logistics & Warehouse
- Order picking: Gathering orders using a side loader or forklift.
- Goods receiving & dispatch: Loading and unloading trucks and properly packaging products for shipment.
- Machine operation: Operating various machines, such as saws and shearing machines.
- Performing other general logistics tasks.
- Willingness to work shifted hours (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM) once or twice per period to assist with loading trucks.
Production (Zinc Sheet Metal Department)
- Sheet metal processing: Operating the decoiler and our advanced folding machines (6m & 4m) to bend zinc.
- Inputting drawings: Reading technical drawings and entering them correctly into the folding machine’s computer system.
- Quality control: Ensuring a high-quality end product that meets all specifications.
- Processing orders in our automation system.

We are looking for a flexible, hands-on person with a broad interest in technology and logistics.
- Technical insight & practical skills: You have demonstrable technical insight and are comfortable working with machines and materials.
- Flexible & eager to learn: You are motivated to master both the logistical processes and the zinc folding techniques (internal training provided).
- Accuracy: You work carefully and precisely, whether you are picking orders or operating machinery.

- Employment: Full-time (38 hours), with the prospect of a permanent contract.

- Time off: 25 vacation days and 13 "ATV" (reduced working hours) days.

- Working hours: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 07:00 AM – 04:00 PM, or 08:30 AM – 05:30 PM.
