At TCS Worldwide, we move time-critical shipments around the world and are looking for a Time Critical Operations Controller to join our growing operations team.
What makes this role different?
This is not a standard logistics position. A significant part of our operation involves On Board Courier (OBC) solutions, where dedicated couriers hand-carry critical shipments on commercial flights around the world. You'll coordinate these high-priority movements, work closely with airlines and couriers, and ensure mission-critical shipments reach their destination as quickly and reliably as possible
What you will do
- Manage urgent international transport requests from start to finish
- Analyse customer requirements and develop the most effective transport solution
- Prepare quotations and determine pricing
- Coordinate shipments with airlines, couriers, and global partners
- Monitor live shipments and proactively solve issues before they escalate
- Keep customers informed throughout the transport process
- Manage courier performance and resource availability
- Identify risks and implement contingency plans
Who we are looking for
- Experience in Passenger Handling, Ground Operations, Flight Dispatch, Crew Control, Airline Operations, Airport Operations, Freight Forwarding , Time Critical Operations or similar
- Stay calm under pressure
- Enjoy solving problems quickly and creatively
- Take ownership and responsibility
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Communicate professionally in English
Availability
Because we operate in a truly time-critical environment, this role is covered through a shift roster.
- Day shifts between 08:00 and 16:30
- Weekend shifts on a rotating basis
- Public holidays when scheduled
- Flexibility to support operational requirements when needed
The Reality of the Role
Let us be honest. Some days will be intense. Flights get delayed, capacity disappears, and customers need immediate updates. Because our customers operate around the clock, weekend shifts form part of the role. If you are looking for a quiet Monday-to-Friday office job, this is probably not the right fit. Pay: €3.350,00 - €4.250,00 per month
