As an Independent Chef Apprentice, you play an important role in the kitchen team. You actively participate in daily kitchen operations and support in preparing high-quality dishes for our guests. During your apprenticeship, you will further develop your cooking skills and gradually learn to work more independently.
You will work with fresh ingredients, assist with mise-en-place, and help ensure the quality and presentation of all dishes. In addition, you contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized kitchen environment in line with HACCP guidelines.
Together with the Chef and your colleagues, you will learn about different sections in the kitchen and develop your culinary skills in a dynamic environment.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU ?

As a MBO student you will receive an internship fee based on €750,- gross per month fulltime, which consists of a €650,- internship fee and an €80,- expense fee. We use variable payment periods of 4 or 5 weeks at a time, according to the number of days and hours worked. So one month you will get a little less and the next month a little more.
