As an Asset Manager at TMC, you work on complex civil and infrastructure assets within the spatial domain, such as infrastructure, rail, water safety, energy supply, and area development. These are assets with long lifespans and significant societal value, where today's decisions directly impact performance, costs, risks, and sustainability in the long term. You support clients and asset owners in professionally organizing and executing asset management based on principles such as ISO 55000. You bring structure to the management and development of assets and translate strategic objectives into tactical frameworks and operational choices. Within projects and management organizations, you act as the connecting link between policy, technology, management, maintenance, and finances. You provide insights into performance, risks, and lifecycle costs and help organizations make informed decisions about investing, maintaining, replacing, and/or optimizing. Assignments are diverse: from setting up or professionalizing asset management within organizations to applying asset management principles in specific projects and programs. You work for (local) governments, water boards, grid operators, contractors, and engineering and consultancy firms. Regardless of the assignment, your role remains the same: ensuring that assets are managed effectively, predictably, and sustainably for the future.
