The Project Manager Digital is responsible for gathering and prioritizing customer requirements to deliver a working product. Their primary responsibility lies in defining a clear vision that aligns with the goals of engineering teams, while keeping up-to-date on all developments essential to achieving desired outcomes.
What will you do?
- Project management of the (Digital) project
- Budget responsibility (creation of budgets, day-to-day budget management)
- Define the product strategy and roadmap
- Define what product is needed for the customer
- Develop Scoping plan - Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
- Develop Customer Concept (all groups represented, i.e., YMS, CSP, WMS etc.)
- IT Hardware list for hardware stream
- Translate scoping plan and customer concept to product roadmap (LS/IT planning)
- Defining and iterating the product
- Work with the different engineering teams to deliver new software
- Solving (development) problems as they appear
- Set up of the systems with the correct configurations
- Closely managing the product scope to get the product launched on time and within budget
- Regular reviews with the customer to assess whether the product meets the customer expectations
- Manage and oversee testing of the complete solution
- Define testing approach with optimal resources available
- Test connection between the product and the customers
- Evaluate test results and work with the engineering teams to solve functional and technical issues
- Closely managing the product scope to get the product launched on time and within budget
- Regular reviews with the customer to assess whether the product meets the customer expectations
- Manage and oversee the implementation of the product
- Define go-live approach with optimal resources available (support)
- Evaluate go-live results and work with the engineering teams to solve functional and technical issues

Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- 3-7 years of experience in WMS / Logistics Software implementations, Operations management, Software user experience
- IT hardware and software project management experience
- Budget control
- Must be able to multi-task/manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Willing to travel on a fairly regular basis
- Leadership skills and the ability to take initiative, flexible, problem-solving attitude, very good communicator
- Highly proficient in English, any other European language is a plus
