Purchaser / Quote Handler – Maas Riva B.V. (Hoogvliet, Rotterdam)

In this versatile position, you will combine purchasing and quotation management, acting as an important link between customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
What will you do?
- Prepare, process, and follow up on quotations
- Respond to quotation requests and customer inquiries
- Process and place purchase orders
- Maintain contact with suppliers regarding prices, availability, and delivery times
- Actively search for alternatives in case of supply issues
- Manage and update pricing and price lists
- Monitor delivery times and order statuses
- Think along in solutions and set priorities within ongoing requests
- Coordinate closely with customers and internal teams
- Actively contribute to smooth team collaboration
What do you bring?
- MBO level of working and thinking (or equivalent)
- Good command of English (Dutch is a strong plus)
- Strong communication skills
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Team spirit and the ability to maintain overview in a dynamic environment
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
- Affinity with purchasing, commerce, or the maritime sector is an advantage
