We are looking for an IT Support Team Manager to lead our technical IT Support operations. In this role, you will ensure our internal teams have the hardware and software solutions they need to keep Kramp moving 24/7.
Your Role
As the IT Support Team Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the heartbeat of our IT operations. You will lead a dedicated IT Support team (around 12-15 FTE), ensuring that user inquiries are handled with precision and that technical issues are resolved promptly to minimize business impact.
You will focus on a tactical leadership approach, balancing technical oversight with the growth and development of your team members.
Communicate the IT strategy and business plans to the team, motivating employees to achieve local objectives while ensuring alignment with Kramp’s mission, values, and overall business goals.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT Support Team, including workload planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and capacity management, to ensure service levels and business commitments are consistently met.
Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues, providing expert guidance on fault diagnosis and resolution to minimize downtime and business disruption.
Identify individual development needs through the performance and development framework and provide coaching, feedback, and training to enhance skills, performance, and career growth.
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner who understands business requirements and delivers high-quality IT support and services.
Set clear objectives and performance expectations for direct reports, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Promote the effective use of Knowledge Management systems and best practices, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement to increase team efficiency and service quality.
Your Team
You will report to the IT Manager and collaborate closely with other tech leadership roles. You will lead a team of IT Support specialists who are dedicated to troubleshooting, diagnosing, and identifying solutions for IT equipment and applications across the organization.
Who Are You?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, with at least 4 years of experience in IT support environments and the ability to handle a broad range of technical and operational challenges.
Proven experience leading and developing teams of 10+ people, effectively managing resources, priorities, and performance to achieve results within tight timeframes.
Strong people leadership skills with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on people strategy, talent development, engagement, and organizational growth.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills, with a strong customer focus and the ability to build trusted partnerships across the business.
Demonstrated ability to lead by example, foster a culture of continuous learning and feedback, and create an inclusive environment where individuals feel supported, empowered, and able to perform at their best.
Familiarity with Agile ways of working and a strong focus on operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement, with the ability to proactively identify opportunities to enhance processes and service delivery.
Please note that this is a hybrid position. The main work location is our headquarters in Varsseveld, with an expectation to be on-site at least 3 days per week. Occasional presence in our Utrecht office is also required based on business needs.
