We're growing our Payments Business Unit and are looking for a Sales Manager - Payments to drive new business and expand our merchant/operator base for our payment orchestration and acquiring solutions in the iGaming and online gambling space. You'll own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and relationship-building with operators, to negotiating commercial terms and onboarding new merchants onto our white label payments platform.
This is a high-impact, quota-carrying role for someone who already speaks the language of PSPs, acquiring, and high-risk payments, and who has an existing network of contacts among online casino and sports betting operators.
Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities with iGaming operators (online casino, sports betting) for our Payments solution.
Build and manage a strong pipeline of enterprise accounts, from first contact to signed contract.
Represent Alea Payments at industry events, conferences, and trade shows (SBC, ICE, etc.).
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers (Heads of Payments, CFOs, Finance/Ops leads at operators).
Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts in collaboration with Legal and Finance.
Work closely with Product and Integration teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new merchants.
Stay on top of market trends: alternative payment methods, cross-border payments, card acquiring, and regulatory changes affecting high-risk verticals.
Provide market feedback to shape the Payments product roadmap.
Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
4+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management within Payments, PSP, Merchant Acquiring, or Payment Orchestration.
Proven track record selling into high-risk verticals, ideally iGaming, online casino, or sports betting.
Existing network of operator or merchant contacts in the payments/iGaming space.
Solid understanding of payment gateways, card acquiring, alternative payment methods, and cross-border payments.
Comfortable managing complex, consultative enterprise sales cycles.
Fluent English (additional languages are a plus, given the international client base).
Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
Prior experience at a PSP or payments company operating in high-risk industries (e.g. Fyst, Libernetix, Paysafe, PayRetailers, or similar).
Experience selling payment orchestration or aggregation solutions specifically.
Existing relationships within LATAM, or other high-growth gaming markets.
