Job description
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our engineering team as a consultant, bringing deep expertise in analog and digital circuit design to support the development of advanced electronic systems. In this role, you will play a key part in turning innovative concepts into functional, reliable, and high-performance hardware—from early prototyping to product realization.
You’ll work within multidisciplinary teams to define, design, and validate complex electronic circuits for high-speed, low-noise, and precision applications. If you're passionate about pushing the boundaries of electronic design and thrive in fast-moving, technically challenging environments—this is your opportunity to make a high-impact contribution.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop complex analog and digital electronic circuits for high-performance systems, including low-noise, high-frequency, and high-speed applications.
Create detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and design specifications, ensuring compliance with signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC requirements.
Support the full hardware development lifecycle—from concept and prototyping to validation and transfer to manufacturing.
Perform circuit simulation, analysis, and verification to ensure performance, reliability, and robustness under real-world conditions.
Collaborate with mechanical, software, systems, and RF engineers to ensure seamless integration of electronic subsystems.
Lead or contribute to prototype builds, testing, and debugging, using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
Apply design for excellence (DfX) principles—including DfM, DfT, and thermal management—to ensure manufacturability and long-term reliability.
Support requirements definition, risk assessments (FMEA), and verification planning in regulated or high-reliability environments.
Contribute to power supply design, connectivity modules (wired/wireless), and mixed-signal embedded systems.
Provide technical input for exploratory projects, rapid prototyping, and early-stage innovation initiatives.
Document designs thoroughly and maintain traceability in PLM or documentation systems.
Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in electronic design and validation.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum 8 years of professional experience in advanced analog and digital circuit design.
Proven expertise in:
Low-noise amplifier, filter, and sensor interface design
High-speed digital circuits (e.g., DDR, SerDes, processors, FPGAs)
Power management (linear and switching regulators, battery systems)
Mixed-signal PCB design and layout principles
Strong hands-on mentality with a proactive, solution-driven approach and a relentless focus on quality and performance.
Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools—preferably Mentor Xpedition (or equivalent like Altium, Cadence).
Familiarity with signal and power integrity analysis, thermal modeling, and EMC design practices.
Proficient in using test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, VNAs).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary, international teams.
Preferred Attributes
Experience in RF electronics design and EMC/EMI troubleshooting.
Background in medical devices, industrial systems, or other regulated environments.
Proven success in consulting, interim, or fast-paced innovation projects.
Understanding of IoT architectures, wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi, BLE, Zigbee), or embedded firmware interfaces.
Amaris Consulting is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. We are committed to promoting diversity within the workforce and creating an inclusive working environment. For this reason, we welcome applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, beliefs, age, marital status, disability, or other characteristics.
Who are we?

With more than 1000 clients across the globe, we have been rolling out solutions in major projects for over a decade – this is made possible by an international team of 7,600 people spread across 5 continents and more than 60 countries. Our solutions focus on four different Business Lines: Information System & Digital, Telecom, Life Sciences and Engineering. We’re focused on building and nurturing a top talent community where all our team members can achieve their full potential. Amaris is your steppingstone to cross rivers of change, meet challenges and achieve all your projects with success.
At Amaris, we strive to provide our candidates with the best possible recruitment experience. We like to get to know our candidates, challenge them, and be able to give them proper feedback as quickly as possible. Here's what our recruitment process looks like:
Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.
As you know, every person is different and so is every role in a company. That is why we have to adapt accordingly, and the process may differ slightly at times. However, please know that we always put ourselves in the candidate's shoes to ensure they have the best possible experience.
We look forward to meeting you!
