Imagine this: a recruitment bureau that grows 30 to 40 percent every year, serves over 2,000 interim professionals, and has just set its sights on all of Europe. That bureau is Hero Interim Professionals, and the team making international expansion happen? You are going to be part of it.
This is an Incubator role. That means there is no established playbook and no safety net of years of experience in these markets. What there is: a team of five ambitious people, a proven proposition, a prime office at Schiphol, and the full backing of a company that has turned bold ambitions into reality time and again. The goal for 2026 is clear: prove that Hero can win across European borders.
As International New Business Sales, you are the tip of the spear. You reach out to companies in European markets, introduce them to what Hero does, and turn cold prospects into warm relationships. Every deal you close helps build the foundation for Hero’s international future.
What you will do
-
Identify and approach potential clients across European markets using outreach, leads, and your own network
-
Pitch Hero’s interim professional services to international companies and decision makers
-
Build and manage a healthy international sales pipeline from first touch to signed agreement
-
Close deals and, if you choose, grow into managing the accounts you bring in
-
Work closely with your fellow 360 recruiters and international recruiters to deliver on the promises you make
-
Contribute to shaping the international go‑to‑market strategy as the team learns what works
-
Send daily end‑of‑day updates to keep the team aligned and the momentum visible
This is you
Fluent in English and at least one other European language. Dutch is a strong plus but not a requirement. What matters most is your ability to connect with people across cultures and build trust over the phone and in meetings.
You bring proven experience in the recruitment or staffing industry. That is a hard requirement. You know how this market works, what clients need, and how to position a proposition that stands out.
This role is not for everyone. It requires someone who thrives when the path isn’t fully paved. You are energized by building something from scratch. Ambiguity doesn’t scare you; it excites you. You bring the kind of sales flair that makes people pick up the phone when they see your name.
-
Bachelor or Master level of thinking and working
-
Recruitment or staffing industry experience (hard requirement)
-
Fluent English plus at least one other European language

What makes Hero unique?
Hero Interim Professionals is not just another recruitment bureau. It is a family‑owned business that has been growing at 30 to 40 percent per year through a unique cell‑division model: once an office reaches about 40 people, it splits into two. That is how Hero keeps growing without losing the personal, warm culture that makes it special.
With over 2,000 professionals working through Hero every day, the scale is real. And the ambition? To become the biggest, most beautiful, and best company in the flex industry. Not just in the Netherlands, but across Europe. And this team is where that journey begins.
At Hero, we believe in The Perfect Match. Between professionals and assignments, but also between you and your next career move. If you want to build something that matters, in a team where every day is different and every win is shared, then we want to hear from you.
