Are you a logistics professional who speaks Polish and enjoys planning and coordination?
At Marlog Automotive Logistics, a fast-growing company specialized in finished vehicle logistics, we are looking for a Polish-speaking Logistics Employee to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the container planning for one of our Polish customers. You will ensure that import containers arriving through the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp are handled efficiently and that all related logistics processes run smoothly.
A unique aspect of this position is that our office is located inside the warehouse. This means you'll work close to the operation and have a front-row view of how vehicles are unloaded, loaded, and prepared for transport.
Your responsibilities
As a Logistics Employee, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and coordinating import containers arriving via the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp.
- Ensuring transport orders are sent to carriers on time.
- Monitoring the ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) of incoming containers.
- Organizing and following up on all transport movements.
- Preparing and checking logistics documentation, including customs clearances, releases, and Bills of Lading (B/Ls).
- Monitoring the progress of incoming containers and arranging additional deliveries when required.
- Providing daily planning updates to our Polish customer.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who:
- Speaks both Polish and English fluently (Dutch is considered a plus).
- Has experience in logistics or transport planning.
- Works accurately and has excellent organizational skills.
- Is proactive and able to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
- Communicates easily with customers, carriers, and colleagues.
Experience in container logistics or import/export operations is preferred, but we are happy to teach you our specific processes.
