About the Job
Wezenberg is looking for an experienced and motivated Order Picker to join our warehouse team in IJsselmuiden. You will work in an international team of approximately 6 colleagues using modern warehouse equipment and electric pallet trucks.
Your main responsibility will be preparing pallets with crates of vegetables and fruit for transportation. This is a position with a high level of independence and responsibility in a professional logistics environment.
We offer a stable long-term full-time position with plenty of working hours. Regular overtime is part of the job and is paid with an additional overtime allowance.
Responsibilities
- Picking and preparing customer orders.
- Preparing pallets containing vegetables and fruit.
- Working with electric pallet trucks.
- Checking quantities and product quality.
- Assisting with loading and unloading.
- Maintaining a safe and organized warehouse.
Working Hours
Two-shift schedule alternating weekly:
Week 1
- 1:00 PM until approximately 10:00 PM
Week 2
- 4:00 PM until approximately 12:00 AM
Regular overtime is expected and compensated accordingly.
Requirements
- Good English communication skills.
- Experience in order picking and warehouse operations.
- Understanding of efficient order preparation.
- Responsible and independent attitude.
- Willingness to work in shifts and overtime when required.
Preferred
- Forklift experience or valid forklift certificate.
- Terminal tractor experience.
- Experience in a transport or logistics warehouse environment.
