Your Team
You will be part of our Test & Product Engineering Team, Product Line In-Vehicle Networking, in Nijmegen, Netherlands, who is working rigorously to deliver the cutting-edge products to market on time while ensuring our brand's reputation for Market Leadership in total quality at optimal cost.
As a Product Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in New IC Product Development, collaborating across multiple disciplines and external teams to deliver Industry-Leading Solutions. Your responsibilities
- You define and execute the validation, characterization, and Industrial Manufacturability Strategy within new product developments to meet our strict quality, manufacturability, and cost targets.
- You analyze semiconductor test & characterization data using Statistical Data Analysis Tools. Use your data science and scripting skills together with your in-depth knowledge of electronics to analyze and judge test results.
- You will be responsible for developing, improving, maintaining & supporting in-house software tools used by Product Engineering.
- You are responsible for Verification and Validation (V&V) Coverage, Define and implement Compliance Matrix, consolidate, and verify test results across different platforms and ensure product performance integrity.
- You drive the allocation and alignment of the V&V methods per requirement and ensure the consistency.
- You steer the vision of product quality by implementing the best zero-defect screening methods and by continuously searching for the best screening techniques that meet the increasing market demand.
- You work closely with the project core team to drive changes across functions to deliver your result on time, at optimal quality and cost.

Your profile
To be successful in this role, you have
- MSc with a background in Electronics Engineering; Well-versed with VLSI Product development; hands-on experience in Semiconductor Product Engineering or any part of Semiconductor Design is a plus.
- 2 to 4 years of work experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred. Still, we are also open to enthusiastic fresh graduates who bring new skills and ideas to keep us innovative and secure our future.
- Good understanding of different testing techniques and methods for New Silicon bring up, Hands on experience in Verification and/or Validation is a plus.
- Experience in scripting/coding using industry standard languages like R, VB, Python, and willingness to learn further to automate activities in PE work.
- Academic course work in Data Science and mastery over Python with demonstrable project work
- Experience in using Machine Learning / Deep learning software development; understanding big data architectures and their challenges & practical implementations.
- Willingness to learn Semiconductor Product Engineering and deep interest in analyzing Semiconductor data to improve product yield, quality and performance.

- Be analytical, fact-based, data-driven, and have the interest and ability to investigate and solve complex cases and have a high-quality mindset.
- Good understanding of electronic circuits, circuit design, and layout to understand the functionality of the product and customer application to assess the content of requirements and test specifications.
