Not too long ago, a man walked into our office with a guitar under his arm. He had written a song for Manometric - and for the first time in three years, he could play again. All thanks to a small, perfectly fitting hand brace.
That’s what we build. At Manometric, we design and produce custom orthoses using proprietary 3D scanning, smart software and scalable production - working directly with hospitals and clinics across the Netherlands and expanding into Germany. As we grow fast, the challenge shifts towards building better products: combining design, engineering and user insight into solutions that people actually want to wear. That’s why we’re hiring a Senior Design Engineer. Someone who can turn ideas into tangible products and help shape the next generation of our orthoses and scanners.
As we scale, product development shifts from execution to innovation. The challenges you'll work on are no longer individual components, but the future of our product portfolio. From developing entirely new orthosis concepts to improving how we design, validate and manufacture at scale, you'll own complex development projects from the very beginning through to production.
We set the bar high. From day one, you'll take ownership of your own projects, making technical decisions, aligning stakeholders and driving products from initial concept to production-ready solutions. You combine user insights, engineering principles and rapid prototyping to create products that not only perform technically, but genuinely improve people's lives.
Working closely with engineers, software developers, clinicians and manufacturing partners, you'll design, prototype, test and iterate while continuously challenging existing assumptions and pushing our products forward. Beyond designing great products, you'll play an active role in shaping how our design team works, improving development processes and raising the technical standard across the organisation. You'll join a team of Vincent, Tom, Daan, Rik, Max and Martijn, where you'll have the autonomy to lead multidisciplinary projects and the opportunity to grow into one of the technical leaders of the team.
