About the Role
As a Catering Employee at the Foodbox food truck, you will help deliver high-quality meals and friendly service to our customers. You’ll play an essential role in daily food preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble fresh food items according to Foodbox standards.
- Set up the food truck each morning and ensure all ingredients and supplies are stocked.
- Serve customers efficiently and with a positive attitude.
- Operate the cash register and handle payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness inside the food truck, including food prep areas, equipment, and service counters.
- Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Support the team with any additional catering tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, small-space environment.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of food safety guidelines (HACCP is a bonus).
- Comfortable with early morning shifts.
