ABOUT THE JOB
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will actively contribute to the design and implementation of advanced automated coating systems for industrial applications. You’ll gain hands-on experience with tools like EPLAN P8 while deepening your understanding of safety standards and system integration.

Your key responsibilities:
- Help design and improve electrical schematics and layouts using EPLAN P8
- Assist in building electrical systems that follow safety standards like NEN 3140, IEC 60204-1 and CE
- Support the selection and integration of components based on system requirements
- Lead the assembly and testing processes of electrical cabinets and prototypes
- Learn and apply EMC principles in system design
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support project execution.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Professional qualifications and skills:
Must-have:
- BSc/BA degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer or in a similar role
- Experience with EPLAN P8 (or AutoCAD Electrical, SOLIDWORKS Electrical, Zuken) for electrical schematics design
- Solid foundation in electrical system design and safety compliance
- Willingness to work hands-on in lab environments.
Nice-to-Have:
- Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Python or similar languages)
- Exposure to PLC programming and industrial automation
- Awareness of ISO 13849 and ATEX standards.

- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proven ability to innovate and deliver practical solutions
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work across multidisciplinary teams
- High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and a dedication to upholding high-quality engineering standards and best practices.
