Biospan · Netherlands · Freelance / Part-time · €300 per day
Biospan is hiring a nutrition-literate private chef to cook for a family household in the Netherlands. This is a one-day-per-week role, ideal for a freelance chef building a portfolio of private clients, with genuine scope to grow as the household expands the service.
Authentic Pakistani home cooking — the food this family grew up with — prepared to a genuinely healthy standard. This isn't about stripping the soul out of the cuisine; it's about cooking it properly with exceptional ingredients.
-
Clean ingredients throughout — organic, 100% pasture-raised, wild where relevant. No antibiotics, pesticides, GMOs, or unnecessary additives
-
No seed oils — a firm requirement
-
Two palates, one kitchen — one member likes real heat, the other prefers no spice at all, so dishes are built to serve both
-
Allergen-aware — lactose intolerance and a walnut allergy in the household
You're cooking for two people with different targets, and the food has to hit them:
-
One is managing diabetes — lean, active, and building muscle. That means glycaemic control and hitting protein consistently, without the meals feeling clinical
-
One is working towards fat loss and strength — a sustainable deficit that still nourishes properly, with a bladder-friendly approach that avoids common irritants where possible
A third household member is likely to join later, with their own targets.
You'll work alongside our in-house nutrition team, who set the framework and brief you — but you need to understand why you're cooking what you're cooking, and be able to adapt confidently when someone's targets shift.

Practical
-
Reliable, discreet, and organised — you're working in someone's home and around their life
-
Own transport, or able to travel comfortably between Boxtel and Rotterdam
-

-
One cooking day per week, preparing lunch and dinner covering three days for two people
-
You shop for organic groceries, design the menus with our nutrition team's guidance, cook, and store everything in glass containers
-
Starting with delivery to Boxtel (a single drop-off), moving to in-home cooking in Rotterdam as the service settles in
-
€300 per day
-
One day per week to start, with the household planning to extend the service across more family members
You cook real food for people who care about it, without the grind of a restaurant service. You get a nutrition team behind you, a clear brief, and clients who value the craft. We also invest in our chefs' nutrition development — if you want to go deeper than most private chefs ever do, this is the place to do it. Most of our BioChefs build a week from several private clients; this role is a strong anchor day.
