Our Sustainability team works on achieving the goals set out in WE Fashion’s CSR strategy. Protecting human rights is an important part of this strategy. This means that WE Fashion continuously works on identifying, preventing, and addressing risks to the rights of workers and communities in our supply chain. Our activities focus on all the people who make our products, from factory workers to cotton farmers.
During your internship, you will support this process and its related activities. This includes topics such as safe and fair working conditions, human rights, and responsible sourcing. You will work closely with the Ethical Sourcing Specialist to monitor, assess, and improve working conditions in our supply chain.
As part of the Sustainability team, you will not only learn everything about corporate social responsibility, but you will also collaborate with different departments within WE Fashion. This will give you a good understanding of how the company operates as a whole. We are curious to see how your fresh perspective can contribute to strengthening our processes in the field of social sustainability!
In addition, you will contribute to the following activities:
- Collecting data for various reports and initiatives;
- Planning and following up on social audits;
- Supporting factories in implementing improvements and strengthening their processes;
- Assisting in organizing and delivering (de)briefings on social sustainability for our Buyers when they visit our production countries;
- Contributing to various social sustainability projects.
What we expect from you?
