Skills, knowledge, experience required:
- More than 10 years of experience with storage migrations, upgrades, and technology refresh activities, including impact/risk assessment and transition planning;
- More than 10 years of experience with capacity planning, performance analysis, and optimisation across SAN and NAS environments, including high availability, disaster recovery, replication, and business continuity concepts for storage services;
- Very good knowledge of Dell EMC PowerMax (SAN) and Dell PowerScale (NAS), including design principles, best practices, and platform capabilities.
Desirable:
- More than 10 years of experience with enterprise Data Backup and Archiving technologies;
- Very good knowledge of automation and standardisation of storage-related tasks and configurations;
- Good knowledge of enterprise virtualisation technologies.
Duties/role:
- Validating and implementing solutions recommended by the Architects;
- Designing, developing, testing, documenting, controlling releases, maintaining, and providing technical support for infrastructure software components and services matching specifications;
- Performing proof-of-concept activities and prototyping infrastructure solutions.
