Position Summary:
You will act as a trusted scientific partner to healthcare professionals treating patients living with respiratory conditions across the Netherlands. You will share clear, evidence-based medical information and capture clinical insights that shape medical strategy. Build and maintain peer-to-peer scientific relationships with healthcare professionals and external experts.

Provide accurate, balanced and non-promotional scientific information in one-to-one and small-group settings.-
Collect, document and report medical insights from the field to inform local and regional medical plans.-
Integrate omnichannel approach into medical education activities and external expert engagement.-
Plan and deliver medical education events, advisory boards and scientific workshops.-
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate medical field insights in medical strategy, while ensuring that activities remain patient-focused-
Support clinical research activities by helping identify sites and investigators and by advising study teams.

Basic Qualifications:
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:
Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine or equivalent healthcare qualification.

Minimum two years’ experience in medical affairs, as a medical liaison, or in a similar field-based scientific role.-
Exceptional communication skills, paired with proven ability to interpret clinical data and communicate it clearly to different audiences.-
Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.-
Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the Netherlands.-
Commitment to act with integrity and to comply with local laws and company standards.

Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Advanced degree such as Master’s, PhD, MD or PharmD in a relevant field.

Experience in the specific therapeutic specialty covered by this role (respiratory medicine and/or immunology).-
Track record of organising and delivering medical education events and advisory boards.-
Digital savviness and experience with integrating omnichannel approach and AI technology in medical affairs activities and medical education-
Experience working in high performing, high expertise cross-functional teams within pharmaceutical or healthcare organisations.-
Experience supporting investigator-initiated studies or local evidence generation.

Dutch Salary Range: EUR 68,850 to EUR 114,750The annual gross base salary range for new hires in this position is listed above for each applicable location. These ranges take into account a number of factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position may offer an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role. More detailed information on the total benefits package will be supplied during the recruitment process.
