As a Packaging Production Worker , you are involved in the production and supply of custom foam products. Everything we produce is customer-specific. These products are foamed, cut, or die-cut in other departments before reaching the packaging department, which is responsible for the final inspection.
You are the last person to check the products before they are shipped to the customer. Is the correct material used? Are the quantities and dimensions accurate? Do the specified number of products fit into the designated box? All instructions are clearly indicated on specific work cards.
Once verified, it is essential to carefully pack the correct quantities within the given timeframe, ensuring that they arrive safely and on time. All tasks are logged in our ERP system via barcodes. The packed boxes are often placed on pallets and labeled correctly.
As a team, you are responsible for the collective output of the department. There is plenty of room for your input and ideas to improve the packaging process. Feel free to brainstorm with your colleagues or supervisor about possible optimizations!
