THE OPPORTUNITY
As Senior Tax Analyst, you will play a key role within the Benelux Tax team. You will manage end‑to‑end tax activities across multiple tax disciplines and act as a trusted advisor to the business. This role provides exposure to international tax matters and cross‑functional projects, offering broad professional development opportunities.
You will collaborate closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Legal, External Affairs and global Tax teams, representing the Tax function across the organization.
Responsibilities of the role:

Owning end‑to‑end tax operations for the Benelux market, including direct tax, indirect tax, excise, customs and tax accounting

Advising stakeholders on tax implications related to business initiatives, projects and transformations

Representing Tax in cross‑functional and international projects

Ensuring full compliance with tax regulations, including filings, payments, audits, rulings and interactions with fiscal authorities

Driving continuous improvement by optimizing tax processes and contributing to international tax and operational initiatives
KEY REQUIREMENTS

University degree in Economics, Finance, Taxation, Accounting or a related field

At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role; experience in a multinational environment is an advantage

Eager to learn and further develop as a tax professional

Works independently and demonstrates a hands‑on, self‑managing mindset

Strong knowledge of corporate income tax, VAT, international tax principles and tax accounting; experience with excise tax and customs is a plus

Solid understanding of accounting standards such as IFRS and Dutch GAAP

Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel); experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) is an advantage

Strong analytical skills and a result-driven mindset

Communicating effectively, strong collaboration and proactive

Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
