The Project Manager, Payroll Operations plays an instrumental role in ensuring that payroll processes and systems continuously serve the Company’s International Payroll Operations, according to varying international payroll requirements and compliance regulations.

The Project Manager, Payroll Operations will be responsible for managing payroll projects and initiatives providing support to leadership. There will be a high focus on process and information management initiatives, including improvement and maintenance of existing and new tools, data validation and analysis. Moreover, the Project Manager, Payroll Operations will manage payroll issues and special projects assigned to the EMEA Payroll Operations Team.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Payroll and other departments to lead the projects to completion.

Prove Leadership managing direct Team Members.

Foster collaborative working relationships with cross functional stakeholders.

Being active in understanding the stakeholders needs and priorities.

Leads the conversation and negotiates with different internal and external payroll partners and stakeholders.

Being a contact point for Payroll Team to raise questions and requests to IT.

Drive initiatives.

Support Payroll Team to ensure monthly payroll is processed properly across countries.

Ensure data accuracy.

Being a translator of what payroll operations need to analyst and developers’ language.

Ensure creation and maintenance of tools and systems is completed properly.

Effectively tracks and communicates project status to upper management.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of International project environment experience (preferably Payroll / HR areas).

Clear understanding of Project Management Methodologies (LEAN or other Certifications are a plus).

Understanding of System Implementation, preferably payroll processing systems. Knowledge of System Implementation projects and operational delivery.

Strong analytical skills to understand evolving key business requirements.

Proactive and with Creative mindset applied to problem solving.

Energetic, initiative and service oriented.

Excellent communication skills for partnering with multiple departments.

Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, take direction from multiple people, and handle pressure in a positive manner.

Fluency in English both written and verbal is required; the knowledge of other European languages is a strong asset.
Systems Requirements

Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft, WorkDay or another HRMS System.

Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook (VBA, Power Query)
